The Baltimore Orioles and catcher Gary Sánchez agreed to a one-year contract, according to Jon Heyman of the New York Post.
The pact is worth $8.5 million, reports Heyman.
Sánchez reportedly returns to the AL East as the Orioles' backup catcher after spending seven years with the New York Yankees to begin his career.
The 32-year-old hit 11 homers with 37 RBIs and a .699 OPS over 89 games with the Milwaukee Brewers in 2024.
Baltimore's had a busy Saturday ahead of the upcoming winter meetings, reportedly also inking slugging outfielder Tyler O'Neill to a three-year, $49.5-million deal.
