Ohtani: Dislocated shoulder didn't impact swing
Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani says his dislocated left shoulder didn't have an impact on his swing during Game 3 of the World Series.
"If it was more the right shoulder, I think it would have impacted my swing," Ohtani said postgame. "Thankfully it was the left, so it didn't really."

Ohtani sustained the injury on a stolen base attempt in Game 2. He said the training staff advised him to wear a heating device on his shoulder before Game 3 and at numerous points during the contest.
"I initially wasn't really exactly sure," Ohtani said of his reaction to the injury, per SNY. "I was really concerned whether I was safe or out. When I went back inside, we had to figure out what it was. The pain has subsided so I feel pretty good about it."
Ohtani was hitless in three at-bats with a walk and a run scored in Los Angeles' 4-2 victory. He struck out, popped out, and grounded out to second base on a ball that had an exit velocity of 103.9 mph.
