The Tampa Bay Rays signed manager Kevin Cash and president of baseball operations Erik Neander to contract extensions, the team announced.

The deals' terms aren't known, but each will receive a multi-year pact that'll carry them into the franchise's move to a new stadium planned for 2028, the Tampa Bay Times' Marc Topkin reports.

"I believe there are none better in baseball," Rays owner Stuart Sternberg said. "What we've all accomplished together has been remarkable, and the best is yet to come."

Cash has managed the Rays since 2015, amassing 739 wins, two division titles, and appearing in the 2020 World Series. Tampa Bay has finished with a .531 winning percentage or better every season since 2018 under the two-time AL Manager of the Year.

Neander began his tenure with the Rays as an intern in 2007. The club promoted him to president of baseball operations in September 2021 after he filled various roles throughout the organization, including vice president of baseball operations and general manager.
