The Milwaukee Brewers and right-hander Julio Teheran have agreed to a major-league contract, according to Jon Heyman of MLB Network.
Teheran became a free agent after opting out of his minor-league deal with the San Diego Padres on Monday.
Teheran, who's made one start in the majors since 2021, reportedly joins a Brewers rotation currently missing Eric Lauer, Brandon Woodruff, and Wade Miley due to injuries.
The 32-year-old owns a career 3.80 ERA with 1.22 WHIP and 7.8 K/9 over 11 seasons with the Atlanta Braves, Los Angeles Angels, and Detroit Tigers. He was an All-Star in 2014 and 2016 with Atlanta.
