Marlins manager Skip Schumaker said Sunday that Chisholm is dealing with turf toe and will see a specialist, according to Andre Fernandez of the Miami Herald. The team will decide whether to place Chisholm on the injured list following his visit.
The 25-year-old has seven homers with 14 stolen bases and a .694 OPS over 39 games this season.
Chisholm, a 2022 All-Star, only played in 60 contests last year because of a stress fracture in his back. He switched from second base to center field during the offseason.
