Rangers' Heaney ties AL single-game record with 9 straight Ks

Andrew Heaney made American League history Monday.
The Texas Rangers left-hander struck out nine consecutive Kansas City Royals to match the AL single-game record held by Doug Fister and Tyler Alexander.

The 31-year-old fell one consecutive strikeout short of the MLB record, which is held by Tom Seaver, Aaron Nola, and Corbin Burnes.
