The Toronto Blue Jays and Major League Baseball are discussing the idea of hosting the 2027 All-Star Game at the Rogers Centre, sources told Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.

The Rogers Centre is slated to undergo significant renovations expected to be finished in 2024. The work will focus on the lower bowl and concourses in an attempt to improve the fan experience.

Only two Midsummer Classics have taken place outside of the United States. The Montreal Expos held one in 1982, and the Blue Jays hosted the other in 1991.

The Seattle Mariners will host the 2023 All-Star Game at T-Mobile Park, and the Philadelphia Phillies are set to stage the 2026 contest at Citizens Bank Park. The 2024 and 2025 events haven't been publicly announced yet.
