The 32-year-old collected eight strikeouts with two walks on a career-high 123 pitches before exiting. Craig Kimbrel relieved him and gave up an RBI single to Matt Duffy before getting the final two outs to cap a 4-1 victory.
"You may never have a chance to do that again," Anderson said, according to The Associated Press. "You just want to give it a chance."
Anderson improved to 8-0 with a 2.82 ERA on the season following the best performance of his seven-year career.
The Dodgers' last no-no was a combined effort in 2018. The club has accomplished the feat 26 times in its history.
