The Los Angeles Angels and right-handed reliever Ryan Tepera agreed to a two-year, $14-million deal, according to Jon Heyman of MLB Network.

The 34-year-old authored a 2.79 ERA and 2.73 FIP over 65 appearances last year between the Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox.

The Angels have prioritized bolstering the bullpen, also adding southpaw Aaron Loup before the lockout and righty Archie Bradley earlier Thursday. Like Tepera, Loup also landed a two-year deal, earning $17 million, while Bradley got a one-year, $3.75-million contract.

A seven-year veteran who spent his first five seasons with the Toronto Blue Jays, Tepera possesses a 3.48 ERA and 3.99 FIP over 297 1/3 innings. He has recorded 12 saves, working predominantly as a middle reliever. Tepera will likely be weaponized as a high-leverage right-hander alongside Mike Mayers, behind closer Raisel Iglesias.
