Report: Joakim Soria retiring after 14 seasons

Free-agent reliever Joakim Soria is retiring, his agent told Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic.
Soria played in the majors for 14 years, earning two All-Star Game selections while with the Kansas City Royals.
The 37-year-old is the all-time MLB leader in appearances (733) by a Mexican pitcher.
Soria posted a career 3.11 ERA with 229 saves and 831 strikeouts over 732 innings during the regular season. He suited up for the Royals, Texas Rangers, Detroit Tigers, Pittsburgh Pirates, Chicago White Sox, Milwaukee Brewers, Oakland Athletics, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Toronto Blue Jays.
