Washington Nationals right-hander Austin Voth left Sunday's game after taking a 90.5-mph fastball to his face off a pitch from Philadelphia Phillies righty Vince Velasquez.
Nationals manager Dave Martinez said postgame that Voth suffered a broken nose and is staying overnight in Philadelphia to have it reset, according to Mark Zuckerman of MASNsports.
The injury occurred in the third inning after Voth attempted to lay down a bunt.
Voth was able to walk off the field under his own power, and Joe Ross replaced him as a pinch-runner at first base.
