The Toronto Blue Jays acquired outfielder Corey Dickerson, right-handed reliever Adam Cimber, and cash considerations from the Miami Marlins for infielder Joe Panik and minor-league right-hander Andrew McInvale, the Blue Jays announced on Tuesday.

Dickerson is hitting .260/.321/.377 with two home runs and 14 RBIs in 224 plate appearances this season. The left-handed hitter owns an .847 career OPS against right-handed pitchers.

The 32-year-old is currently on the injured list with a left foot contusion and is expected to be in a walking boot for a couple more weeks before he can join Toronto's lineup.

Cimber, meanwhile, gives Blue Jays manager Charlie Montoyo another option out of the bullpen. The 30-year-old submarine pitcher owns a 2.88 ERA with 21 strikeouts in 34 1/3 innings this season and hasn't allowed a home run in 2021. He's also under club control through 2024.

Panik, 30, is hitting .246/.293/.351 with two homers and 11 RBIs during his second campaign with the Blue Jays.

McInvale owns a 2.55 ERA with 34 strikeouts and 14 walks in 24 2/3 innings across two minor-league levels this season. Toronto selected the 24-year-old Texan in the 37th round of the 2019 draft.

Blue Jays left-hander Travis Bergen was designated for assignment to make room on the roster for Cimber.
