MLB's newest hats are already a thing of the past.
Hours after releasing the league's "Local Market" caps Tuesday, New Era pulled the items from its website following social media backlash.
The "Local Market" line featured team-specific designs for all 30 clubs. Items such as local area codes, landmarks, and food graced each of the caps.
New Era released a statement on Wednesday saying they removed the collection from their website to review the accuracy of the caps' designs, according to The Associated Press.
