Jeremy Jeffress is not pleased he's still a free agent.
The pitcher took to social media Wednesday to explain why he thinks he's still unemployed after the Washington Nationals released him on March 7 for unspecified "personnel reasons." He pinned the blame on his former representation.
The 33-year-old reliever's comments came 10 days after he posted a cryptic tweet about his former agent, Joshua Kusnick, who hasn't represented Jeffress since 2019.
Jeffress pitched well for the Chicago Cubs in 2020, authoring a 4-1 record with a 1.54 ERA and 0.94 WHIP. The former Milwaukee Brewers closer and one-time All-Star owns 52 career saves.
