New York Yankees closer Aroldis Chapman will serve a two-game suspension in 2021 for throwing near the head of Tampa Bay Rays utility player Mike Brosseau, according to Jon Heyman of MLB Network.

Chapman's ban was initially for three games, but it was reportedly reduced at a hearing Thursday.

The incident occurred during a regular-season game on Sept. 1, when Chapman threw a 101-mph fastball over Brosseau's head in the ninth inning.

Brosseau got his revenge on Chapman and the Yankees in Game 5 of the ALDS thanks to a dramatic game-winning home run.
