Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw and outfielder Cody Bellinger couldn't help but laugh when Jimmy Kimmel recently asked them about the Houston Astros' cheating tactics.
"Was it easier to win a World Series where the other team wasn't cheating?" Kimmel asked.
"Well, I guess so. We won, so it must have been easier," Kershaw said while laughing before Bellinger commented with, "I'd say so."
The Dodgers lost to the Astros in the 2017 World Series. Major League Baseball penalized Houston in January 2020 for its part in a sign-stealing scandal that included the 2017 campaign.
Los Angeles defeated the Tampa Bay Rays in late October to capture its first World Series title since 1988.
