The Philadelphia Phillies have entered the final stages of their manager search, and the list of candidates is down to three.

Dusty Baker, Joe Girardi, and Buck Showalter will get follow-up interviews, and they're believed to be the only candidates still under consideration, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer's Matt Breen.

A decision is expected to be finalized by next week, and Girardi and Showalter are the favorites, according to Breen.

Philadelphia is reportedly looking for a seasoned skipper with MLB experience after taking a gamble on Gabe Kapler, who had never managed in the big leagues before being hired.

Baker, Girardi, and Showalter have managed for a combined 53 years. Of the three, only Girardi has won the World Series as a manager, taking home baseball's biggest prize with the New York Yankees in 2009.

The Phillies are seeking a replacement for Kapler, who was fired on Oct. 10 following two seasons with the club.

Phillies general manager Matt Klentak and assistant GM Ned Rice are leading the search, with managing partner John Middleton and team president Andy MacPhail also adding input.
