Mike Trout etched his name into the record books on Saturday with a second-inning stolen base against the Boston Red Sox.

The Los Angeles Angels outfielder became the youngest player to reach 200-plus home runs and 200 stolen bases, according to MLB.com's Rhett Bollinger.

Trout, who is 28 years and 24 days old, bested Barry Bonds, who was 28 years and 349 days old when he entered the 200-200 club, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

Trout is also the youngest player in MLB history to record 250-plus home runs and 200 steals, according to The Athletic's Fabian Ardaya.

The two-time AL MVP and eight-time All-Star has logged double-digit home-run and stolen-base totals in eight consecutive seasons dating back to 2012.

Trout entered Saturday with 283 career home runs, and he leads MLB with 43 long balls this season.
