The New York Yankees really love hitting against the Baltimore Orioles.

On Wednesday, the Yankees hit their 49th home run of the season against the Orioles when Gio Urshela drove a Miguel Castro sinker to left-center field in the fifth inning.

The blast gave the Yankees the most home runs hit by any team against one opponent in a single season, according to MLB Stats.

At the time of Urshela's blast, forty of the Yankees' 49 homers against Baltimore this season had come at the Orioles' home park at Camden Yards, where 10 of the 15 games in the matchup had been played.

Infielder Gleyber Torres, who didn't start Wednesday, is responsible for 10 of the Yankees' home runs against the Orioles in 2019.

The Yankees finished Wednesday's game with five long balls, becoming just the second team ever to hit five-plus homers in three straight games, according to MLB Stats.
