Dahl suffered an ankle sprain and more tests will be done Saturday, according to Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post, who reports a stint on the injured list is likely.
The 25-year-old has had some bad injury luck in the past, missing the entire 2017 season with a stress reaction in a rib that led to a separate back injury. He was out of action for several months in 2018 with a fractured right foot after fouling a pitch off of it.
He also missed eight games earlier this year with a core injury.
Dahl was named to his first All-Star team in July. The former first-round pick entered Friday's contest hitting .302/.353/.526 with 15 home runs and 61 RBIs.
