Porcello hurls cooler in dugout during Red Sox blowout loss
The Boston Red Sox 2019 season is off to a rough start, and it's clearly getting to Rick Porcello.
On Friday, Porcello was roughed up for a second straight start, allowing seven runs on 10 hits in 4 2/3 innings during an eventual 15-8 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks.
The former Cy Young winner surrendered five of those seven runs in the fourth. After mercifully getting out of the inning, he took out his frustrations on a helpless Gatorade cooler in the dugout.

The poor outing helped drop the Red Sox to 2-7 on the young season, and it left Porcello with an eye-popping 13.50 ERA and 3.14 WHIP after two starts. In his first start of the season against Seattle, he was tagged for four runs and didn't make it out of the third inning.
''Very frustrating,'' Porcello said afterward, according to Jason Mastrodonato of the Boston Herald. ''I am not doing my job right now. I don't take that lightly."
"I take full responsibility for these first two starts, not throwing the ball like I need to," he added.
Boston's pitching has been awful - infielder Eduardo Nunez threw an inning on Friday - and the team's hurlers sport a collective 9.60 ERA with 16 homers allowed.
