Adrian Beltre's No. 29 will be retired by the Texas Rangers this season, the team announced Friday.
The date for the decision wasn't revealed by the club, however, the announcement could happen in June, reports Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
Beltre will join Ivan Rodriguez, Johnny Oates, Nolan Ryan, and Jackie Robinson as the only other players to have their numbers retired by the team.
