The Chicago Cubs' early exit from the 2018 MLB postseason didn't stop their fanbase from dropping a lot of F-bombs as the playoffs progressed.
A study by TickPick monitored Reddit during the playoffs to see how frequently the word "f---" appeared, and who it was directed at. Despite their team not making it past the wild-card round, Cubs fans dropped the most F-bombs of any fanbase with 432.
Game 3 of the World Series featured the most vulgarity, with nearly 3,000 F-bombs.
The term "f--- you" was directed at the New York Yankees more than any other team, while Manny Machado generated the most profanity of the players involved.
