The New York Yankees are one of the premier teams on the verge of competing for the 2018 World Series, and the club's already been vocal about being active at July's trade deadline.
Just don't expect the Yankees to dangle potential superstar Gleyber Torres in order to bolster the pitching staff.
"I've got to walk around this town," general manager Brian Cashman said Friday when asked if he'd consider moving the 21-year-old second baseman, according to MLB.com's Bryan Hoch.
Torres is acquitting himself well in his first taste of big-league competition. Through 45 games, he's hitting .295/.351/.577 with 13 home runs.
