Saturday night's contest between the Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets at Citizens Bank Park has been postponed due to rain.
It will be made up as part of a traditional doubleheader on Aug. 16 at 4:05 p.m. ET, the Phillies announced.
Zach Eflin had been scheduled to take the mound for Philadelphia opposite the Mets' Noah Syndergaard on Saturday. Because of the rainout, the Mets have pushed Syndergaard's start to Tuesday against Toronto, per Philly.com's Scott Lauber; Philadelphia hasn't announced its rotation plans.
Weather permitting, the Mets and Phillies are scheduled to complete this weekend series on Sunday afternoon.
