Sunday's series finale between the Minnesota Twins and Seattle Mariners at Target Field has been postponed due to inclement weather, the Twins announced.
It will be made up May 14 at 6:10 p.m. CT, a mutual off day for both teams. Tickets for Sunday's postponed contest can be used for the makeup game.
Lance Lynn was scheduled to make his home debut for Minnesota against the Mariners' Marco Gonzales.
Weather reports are calling for snow in Minneapolis, one day after the Twins and Mariners played in freezing conditions that caused Target Field's grass heaters to be activated - and steam up the playing surface.
This weekend series was Seattle's only scheduled visit to the Twin Cities this season.
