Despite not having interviewed for the position, Alex Rodriguez is getting an endorsement to become the New York Yankees manager from none other than his girlfriend and pop icon Jennifer Lopez.

After Merritt Rohlfing of Beyond the Box Score penned a persuasive piece on why A-Rod would make a great manager, having dealt with the New York media's most vitriolic ire during his playing career, Lopez shared the article to her 44 million Twitter followers, suggesting he was the obvious choice.
While Lopez believes the decision "couldn't be clearer," Rodriguez explained earlier in November that he has "never thought about" managing his former team.
