Carlos Correa didn't want to wait for his ring.
Moments after his Houston Astros won their first World Series championship in franchise history, Correa - the first overall pick in 2012 and the cornerstone of the Astros' rebuild from laughingstock to champion - took a knee during a television interview on the field at Dodger Stadium and proposed to his girlfriend, Daniella Rodriguez.
Of course, she said yes.
Mazel tov to a happy team and an even happier couple.
