Javier Baez is awake.
The Chicago Cubs second baseman, who entered Game 4 of the National League Championship Series in an 0-for-20 slump, hit his second home run of the night Wednesday when he golfed an Alex Wood offering over the left-field fence.
Baez made sure to step out of the dugout for the Wrigley Field curtain call after his dinger put the Cubs on top of the Los Angeles Dodgers 3-1 in a do-or-die contest for Chicago.
