Kyle Schwarber knows how to hit a ball with authority.

During the seventh inning of Thursday's National League Division Series game five, the Chicago Cubs slugger came in to pinch hit for pitcher Mike Montgomery and absolutely hammered an offering from Washington Nationals left-hander Sammy Solis off the right-field wall.

Schwarber's line drive was hit so hard, he only managed to secure a single with his effort, but he did leave his "mark" on the outfield wall.

The liner left Schwarber's bat at 114.8 mph, according to MLB's Daren Willman.
