Michael A. Taylor brought his heroics from Game 4 of the National League Division Series into Game 5 against the Chicago Cubs.

With the game tied 1-1 in the second inning Thursday, the Washington Nationals outfielder went up the ladder to belt a three-run blast off Cubs right-hander Kyle Hendricks.

The Nationals wound up scoring four runs in the inning with Taylor's homer following a solo shot from Daniel Murphy.

Taylor's home run followed his grand slam from Game 4, and gave him seven RBIs in the series.
