MLB: 'Unfortunate' that Wiz Khalifa puffed fake joint before 1st pitch at PNC
Major League Baseball was blunt in its response Thursday to a gesture from rapper Wiz Khalifa ahead of his ceremonial first pitch at PNC Park on Wednesday night.
Khalifa, a Pittsburgh native, drew the league's ire when he - clad in a T-shirt that read "Legalize it" - pretended to take a puff from a joint before tossing out the first pitch ahead of the Pirates' game against the Baltimore Orioles.

"Marijuana is a (prohibited) substance in all of our drug programs. It's unfortunate this situation occurred," the league said in a statement, according to Rob Biertempfel of the Pittsburgh Tribune. "The Pirates have informed us that this should not have happened."
