The Chicago Cubs never saw it coming.

With the Milwaukee Brewers' hopes of staying alive in the NL Central race hanging by a thread, shortstop Orlando Arcia came to his team's rescue in the biggest of ways Saturday afternoon. Facing Wade Davis - the Cubs' nearly infallible All-Star closer - in the ninth inning of a one-run game, Arcia lifted a high home run that drifted over the left-field wall and into the second deck, stunningly knotting the game at 2-2 and sending Miller Park into a frenzy.

As a result, Davis was charged with his first blown save since Sept. 2, 2016, when he was still pitching for the Kansas City Royals.
