Texas Rangers fans got their first look at their club's eventual new ballpark Thursday.
The organization announced in August the club's new stadium, named Globe Life Field - a slight tweak to its current venue's name, Globe Life Park - would be ready for the 2020 season, and would feature air conditioning and a retractable roof.
The Rangers and HKS Architects, the Dallas-based firm in charge of the new stadium, have revealed the first images of the facility's design.

The new ballpark will seat approximately 41,000 and stretch across a total of 1.7 million square feet.
