Watch: Trout joins elite company with 25th HR of season
Anthony Gruppuso / USA TODAY Sports
The baseball world already knows just how good Mike Trout is, but on Saturday he continued to cement his legacy.
In the first inning against the Baltimore Orioles, the Los Angeles Angels outfielder clubbed his 25th home run of the season to become the third player in major-league history to have six 25-homer seasons before his age-26 season.
Trout joins Frank Robinson and Eddie Mathews as the only players to ever accomplish the feat.
The two-time MVP added his 26th long ball of the season two innings later.
