Maybe this two-way thing can work for Hunter Greene.
After failing to register a hit in the first three at-bats of his pro debut with the Billings Mustangs, the 19-year-old ripped a two-run triple Tuesday. Not a bad way to kick off his career.
The Cincinnati Reds selected Hunter Greene second overall in the 2017 draft as a pitcher, but he could also see time as a designated hitter when the opportunity presents itself. MLB.com lists Greene as the team's No. 2 prospect and projects him to be ready for major-league action in 2021.
