Mariners minor leaguers took $683 Uber ride to game after flight fell through

Sometimes, in a pinch, you just have to take an Uber.
After their flight from Phoenix to Albuquerque fell through, Mark Lowe, Dan Vogelbach, D.J. Peterson, and Pat Light of the Triple-A Tacoma Rainiers did just that to get to Monday's series opener in New Mexico, calling an Uber in the wee hours of the morning and embarking on a seven-hour journey that cost them $683.52.

For his effort, Hemant, who chauffeured the four players nearly 422 miles in his Chrysler Town & Country, got five stars.
