Autographed Judge card sells for more than $14K

Never underestimate the power of a judge's signature.

On Wednesday, the same day that Aaron Judge tied the New York Yankees' rookie record for home runs set by Joe DiMaggio in 1936, a baseball card signed by the 25-year-old phenom sold for $14,655 on eBay, according to ESPN's Darren Rovell.

No Aaron Judge card has ever sold for more money publicly.

"I don't even know what to say," Judge told Mike Mazzeo of the New York Daily News when told a card with his signature on it had fetched that kind of money.

Interestingly, the jersey Judge wore in his MLB debut on Aug. 13, 2016 at Yankee Stadium is also up for auction, though the current high bid ($12,100) is more than $2,500 less than what the autographed card commanded on eBay.
