And then there were eight.

The complete field for the 2017 Home Run Derby competition July 10 at Marlins Park has now been finalized, as Colorado Rockies center fielder Charlie Blackmon and Kansas City Royals third baseman Mike Moustakas are the final two names to join the competition.

Blackmon and Moustakas are the third and fourth entrants to be confirmed Monday after Miami Marlins first baseman Justin Bour and New York Yankees slugging duo Aaron Judge and Gary Sanchez were also announced as participants.

2017 Home Run Derby field

Player Team 2017 HRs

Cody Bellinger Dodgers 24
Miguel Sano Twins 20
Aaron Judge Yankees 27
Gary Sanchez Yankees 13
Justin Bour Marlins 18

All seven new challengers will need to bring their best bats to the contest to unseat Giancarlo Stanton, the reigning champ, who hit a total of 61 home runs in last year's edition - 20 in the final round - to take home the title.
