Yasiel Puig caught a break.
The Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder had his one-game suspension for giving fans in Cleveland the middle finger earlier this month rescinded, according to Ken Gurnick of MLB.com.
Puig, who will instead make a charitable donation, flipped off heckling fans while making his way back to the dugout following a home run at Progressive Field on June 13.
Major League Baseball chief officer Joe Torre announced a one-game suspension the following day, though Puig appealed.
"People were talking to me before the home run, and they talked to me after the home run," Puig said at the time.
"I reacted that way. I stooped to their level."
