Maybe he lost it in the lights.
Cincinnati Reds catcher Devin Mesoraco was a bit slow to react to Corey Dickerson's foul pop-up Wednesday afternoon. It looks like it may have darted around in the air before veering back to earth, forcing Mesoraco to correct his course a tad late.
He met dirt instead of recording an out, and the Tampa Bay Rays outfield eventually walked, adding salt to the proverbial (and maybe literal) wound.
