Boston Red Sox slugger Hanley Ramirez offered up a dramatic bat flip Monday after making weak contact on a ball that fell for a bloop single.
Although bat flips are most common on mammoth home runs, this season, there's been no shortage of them on outs (see Odubel Herrera) and singles.
Unfortunately for Ramirez, the Red Sox couldn't rally behind the grand gesture, losing to the Kansas City Royals by a final score of 4-2.
