Edwin Encarnacion is still beloved in Toronto.
In Encarnacion's first return to Rogers Centre since signing with the Cleveland Indians in the offseason, the Blue Jays produced a touching video tribute for their former slugger that played on the big screen prior to Monday's meeting between the clubs.
Blue Jays fans in attendance didn't shy away from showing their appreciation, either, showering the 34-year-old with a standing ovation as the tribute played:
