Toasted grasshoppers sell out during Mariners opener
Darren Rovell / ESPN
Baseball fans apparently love snacking on grasshoppers.
Last week, it was announced the Seattle Mariners would sell toasted grasshoppers at their home opener on Monday night against the Houston Astros.
The high-protein delicacy was so adored by fans they actually sold out.
The grasshoppers, which were tossed with chili lime salt for some extra zing, were also enjoyed by broadcasters on location.
