Watch: David Johnson proves football was right choice with brutal 1st pitch
Rick Scuteri / USA TODAY Sports
He's already proved that dodgeball isn't his sport, but Arizona Cardinals running back David Johnson can now add baseball to his list of activities he should probably stay away from.
After joining the Arizona Diamondbacks for batting practice Thursday afternoon, Johnson attempted to throw out the first pitch before the team's game against the San Francisco Giants - neither went well.
"I just couldn’t get one out there, man," Johnson told his team's website of his baseball swing. "I got a couple (to the outfield), but I needed home runs."
Thankfully, Johnson knows perfectly well how to score home runs in his own sport.
