Strawberry says he and Gooden are friends again
Straw and the Doc have put their issues behind them and are apparently friends again.
On Sunday, Darryl Strawberry posted that he and Dwight Gooden have hashed things out and are back to being buddies after the two broke off communication with one another after they severed their relationship this past August.
The pair, who were teammates with the New York Mets from 1984-90 and with the New York Yankees in 1996 and '97, broke off their friendship after Strawberry accused Gooden of being back on drugs last summer.

Strawberry's accusations rubbed Gooden the wrong way and he later made it clear he didn't want Strawberry in his life.
"The Darryl thing hurt me a lot," he said on "The Joe Piscopo Show" on WNYM-AM in August. "I reestablished a relationship with him. I gave him a lot of stuff. I never went to the press. I never said anything (negative) about him. I need to make better choices in picking friends."
