On Wednesday, one of the most talked about storylines in spring training will earn further attention when former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow makes his spring training debut for the New York Mets.
Tebow, who hit a meager .194 in the Arizona Fall League while mainly playing with prospects, will bat eighth as the team's designated hitter, and will likely square off against 2016 Cy Young winner Rick Porcello in his first at-bat.
The 29-year-old Tebow possesses plenty of power and has the potential to go yard if he gets a hold of one, but he also struck out 20 times in 62 AFL at-bats, so anything can happen in his debut plate appearance.
