Tigers' Andrew Romine: Ready to resume super utility role
Romine should once again serve in a super-utility role for the Tigers this season, MLB.com reports.
Analysis:
Romine brought eight different gloves to spring training, and the Tigers want him to break them all in. Last season, Romine appeared at all four infield positions and all three outfield positions, so he gives the team a lot of versatility off the bench. However, he's a career .240 hitter with minimal power (six career home runs in seven MLB seasons), so he's not much of a fantasy asset.
