White Sox's Charlie Tilson: In camp early, healthy
Tilson's hamstring injury has completely healed, Paul Sullivan of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Analysis:
Tilson arrived at training camp early, motivated to win a starting outfield job. The offseason trade of Adam Eaton to Washington opened up center field, and Tilson is considered a favorite to the win job if he can stay healthy. That said, his track record as far as offense is a fairly modest one -- contact and speed are his main skills, and the speed may not show up in the form of big MLB numbers, considering his unimpressive success rate stealing bases in the minors.
