Fans, teammates gather at Kauffman Stadium for vigil to honor Ventura
Following devastating news that Yordano Ventura had died in a car accident, a large group of Kansas City Royals fans - including Ventura's former teammates - are paying tribute to the young starter outside of Kauffman Stadium.

Royals players joining the vigil were Christian Colon, Ian Kennedy, and Danny Duffy. Earlier in the day, Duffy and Colon arrived at Kaufman Stadium to embrace fans who were in attendance.
Teammates mourned their young starter, as a handful of Royals players took to social media in order to remember the 25-year-old. A funeral will take place Tuesday in Dominican Republic and several teammates including manager Ned Yost and general manager Dayton Moore are expected to be in attendance.
